Rarotonga
The Rarotongan people are so friendly so do
take the time to stop and talk to them – you wont be disappointed.
The water is so warm and inviting that you will
just not want to ever get out except to order a cocktail of course.
The Muri Beach Club Hotel – Our home for 10days while were on this amazing tropical island was a magical place with one of the best pools on the Island. The staff were very friendly and very helpful and quickly became our best friends
The Te Vara Nui
show was amazing – the meal was one of the best meals I have ever had –
definitely worth going to this award winning evening.
The Mooring
CafĂ© has the best food on the Island – sadly it is only open from 11am to 3pm.
All their food is great and the FOB is what most people order. The Raro Buggy
Tour stops here for Lunch and they say it is a light lunch but they are
seriously joking as the meal is so big you wont need to eat anything else
during the day, except a cocktail of course during happy hour.
The Sails
Restaurant and Bar on the Muri Beach waterfront is another place to venture, it feels like you can nearly
touch the water but not quite, and is a must to try even if only for the view.
The Saturday
morning market has a great atmosphere too, with local music and a chance to do
some dancing and win free stuff. The locals here love to chat to you and if you
are lucky one of the locals will take you there for free and tell you their
life story!!!
The Wigmore
Falls are definitely worth a trip – you do have to pay $2pp for the experience
though. These falls reminded me of my favourite camping spot at Ruatiti. I
loved this place so much we went there twice for a swim AND the water was warm
